there will always be something beautiful

in the beginning of writing.
seemingly repraising the creation of life itself
or as some might prefer to term the universe,
it is often easier just to give up
on what has happened thus far
and start afresh.

screw up the piece of paper, click the X,
set light to the touchpaper of thought
and observe as much as
you can perceive of the destructive act.

there are many elements that are unaffected
and many millions more that are; which will
have the greater impact eventually
can only be seen by those eminences themselves
and by this - whatever this might be.
the collateral by definition.

already by destroying thousands of works
without the blinking shred of deference
that might be wished for
there has risen from the ashes action that transcends
all of this. phoenixes of singed potential, chariots
of unslain, tanks affording asylia or a plane of finite measure.

the beauty of writing lies in not only the writer, but the audience,
as without them there can only be the idea of the idea,
the justification that never falters as it is never scrupulated
by more than one moral grey area.

and so, i suggest you do not panic atto.
